About the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC: The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC has a mission of electing strong, progressive leaders to Congress who share our vision for America’s future. The CPC PAC is the caucus’ political arm, co-chaired by Reps. Mark Pocan, Pramila Jayapal, and Jamie Raskin. It is one of the leading national groups that works to support and elect the next generation of progressive leaders that will embody the present and the future of the progressive movement.
In the 2022 cycle, the CPC PAC raised $4.4 million and spent over $1.6 million through its independent expenditure arm to support progressive House candidates around the country. It is one of the only national groups solely dedicated to electing progressive candidates to Congress.
Position summary: The Finance Associate will be responsible for managing the PAC’s fundraising activities, including helping to manage PAC fundraising events, serving as a lead point of contact for donors and CPC PAC member offices, and maintaining internal fundraising reports and tracking. They will also support additional political and operational activities, including conducting research on candidates and districts, drafting internal memos, maintaining trackers, and staffing events and candidate meetings. The role will directly support the organization’s work in supporting incumbent CPC members and electing bold progressive candidates to Congress.
The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC is a small but impactful team. The individual will report to the organization’s Executive Director and work with the PAC’s Co-Chairs, their teams, and the broader caucus. The position is based in Washington DC and is currently remote, but employees should be prepared to transition to in-person duties this cycle with some flexible hybrid work options. This position requires the ability to work core hours, Monday through Friday, and may require occasional night and weekend hours.
Compensation and Benefits: This full-time position will be based in Washington, DC. The salary range for this position is $55,000-67,500/year. Benefits also include:

Finance responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day fundraising operation including regular interaction with consultants, compliance team, and CPC PAC member offices and campaign teams
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and build upon existing relationships with Members of Congress and their staff when appropriate in regard to events and outreach
- Work with PAC fundraising consultant and other partners and member offices to oversee all fundraising events both in person and virtual; ability to manage multiple events at once
- Serve as a point of contact for individual donors and donor organizations
- Prepare materials and proposals, as well as pre-meeting and event briefings for principals and prospective and current donors
- Maintain fundraising reports and manage tracking systems
Operations responsibilities:
- Conduct research on candidates and priority districts, assist in drafting memos, and maintain internal trackers
- Staff candidate interviews and other meetings
- Assist with scheduling and event planning and outreach
- Help to coordinate back-end logistics for meetings and calls

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience managing or supporting a professional fundraising program; 1-2 cycles of finance experience preferred
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote and occasional in-person settings
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects successfully with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
- Excellent customer-service skills, detail-oriented, self-starter in independent and collaborative settings
- Requires a demonstrated ability to handle matters of a sensitive and confidential nature
- Familiarity with NGP, MS Office suite, and Google Suite
